This is A Nature Reserve, so expect nature. I went there to hopefully see and get pics of Alligators in the wild. I ran across 4 babies. Got pics and video. I'm told fishing the canals here is good. Bass are popular.
We went to the kid’s annual fishing derby here and had a blast! It was well organized and everyone was so kind. We didn’t travel all over the park but plan to go back another time and fish.
Very tranquil place to be. Not too many people. Lots of wildlife.
One of my favorite places to connect with nature and take photographs. The sunset is always stunning with the water reflection. If you need a peaceful moment, I'd recommend coming here.
Beautiful place to walk, see nature, watch a sunset! There are very well-maintained hiking trails throughout. You can easily do 3-4 miles while looking out over canals and at some points the entire Lake. Birds abound, Gators are frequently visible, and you can sometimes see glimpses of otters. The gate closes at Sunset, but it opens from the inside so you can't get trapped. Awesome place!
