My family and I have been going here for 20+ years and love it every time. Always a wonderful experience! Great, friendly staff, amazing food and very cozy dining atmosphere. If you want top notch real German food then this is the place to be. Just make sure you go hungry because you'll always leave full.

We had an awesome experience! The staff was excellent and the food was different and delicious with generous portions. Emmys presence at the restaurant made you feel right at home. This is the way eating out should be!

Delicious German fare in a local icon. Authentic flavor, generous portions and very attentive wait staff. Bar stocks nice choice of German beer and wine. Can't recommend more highly, even if German food isn't your fancy, there are other "American" choices

A Fun little local bar, restaurant with a German feel. Run by good people that are happy you are there and ready to make you feel at home. We should up with a party of 14 fifteen minutes before closing and they welcomed us without hesitation our server was was friendly and attentive. The food was definitely the best part of the experience. I recommend the prime rib a queen cut unless you are a really big eater, I mean really big!

Our First Visit. Recommended to us by friends. The staff was beyond hospitable. There was a little wait but that was to be expected dinner time Saturday Night. We had a couple of drinks at the bar while waiting. The bar staff was great as well as the guests. We did finally get a seat downstairs. Completely different atmosphere but enjoyable. We had the prime rib with German potatoes. Oh everything was just great! The potatoes were just like my grandmother's. My heart and belly were both quite happy. Would definitely go again!
