Sweet Tea Cafe

My friend and I had a fabulous full tea time lunch. We will definitely be back and bring friends. Everything was so delicious and loved all the little details.

So glad to discover this tea house in Deland! We had such a nice relaxing time trying a variety of teas and delicious soup, tea sandwiches, and desserts, the scones were perfect. Can't wait to bring my daughters next time!

I took my friend here for her birthday and it was amazing! I love the new location, it’s cozy and so immersive in the experience. There is soothing music playing, a candle burning and enough decor to keep your eyes busy throughout your entire visit. That’s all before the food and tea arrive! The host immediately brings you a tea of choice, and I have never had a tea I didn’t enjoy. The food is amazing. Everything is handmade and extremely delicious. You can tell the owner puts extreme attention to detail on everything she does and has immense pride in her product. You need reservations which are easily made online. Highly recommend!!!!!

So stinking cute. For only being open 8 weeks, they did a great job. The food was good and they were super accommodating to dietary needs at the last minute(my fault for not telling them). The house was so lovely decorated. The only thing I would would say is they need to work on the presentation/neatness of the food when it comes out. I would have love to have my own tea pot of choice tea to fill my cup as I finish my cup, rather than waiting for someone to come around. However, the variety of teas was a great selection. We definitely go back.

Fantastic atmosphere and food was heavenly! It is decorated so cute! I tried the ginger peach hot tea, it has a great flavor. The Blueberry scone with cream and jam was bursting with baked goodness, absolutely delicious! I also tried the chicken Tortilla soup and loved it, so full of wonderful spices. I finished off my meal with the fresh banana cake..... Oh goodness it was moist and full of homemade goodness!
Loretta made us feel so home! We will be back for more!
