Trinity United Methodist

My Fiancé and I searched for a new church to grow with. I was a member of the First UMC in downtown Deland. We found our together church. I transferred my membership to Trinity UMC because they embrace all God’s children unconditionally. The UMC sadly split recently over it’s abilities to love all. Trinity will not try to “change” the LGBTQ+. Trinity has a whole heart and welcomes young and older with open arms. Rev. Dr. Todd shares a meaningful sermon every week and loves his job. Church service includes the children of his congregation! We’re enjoying our new family.

Very warm and friendly people welcoming! From the time I pulled in to the time I parked my car someone was being nice. Service was meaningful, even had a special time for children in it. After a social downstairs with coffee and juice. This church has a lot to offer the community.

I went here for many years. Wonderful people. Getting a new Pastor. A new building farther from downtown is in the future. Current building is hard to navigate if physically disabled. They have a fantastic "flea market " sale in the Fall. Excellent youth programs open to the community.
I miss everyone.

What a personal blessing that I found TUMC after visiting a number of different churches in DeLand. There was an immediate connection with the love of Christ and friendship that Trinity exudes. I never felt like a stranger after walking through the front door.

Trinity UMC is a great church - bringing H.O.P.E. (Hospitality, Opportunity, Purpose and Engagement) to the greater-DeLand community. Come join us!
