“Such a wonderful place with kind & helpful staff!!!! What a great value, the room rate per night was the about the same as other places that were WAY below the standard of this hotel! We were a party of three in a room with two double beds so we reserved a roll away bed & it was actually pretty comfortable! The room was immaculately clean & smelled so fresh! I suggest requesting a room with a window facing out of the back of the hotel like ours because it offers a nice forest view! The bathroom was SO clean & refreshing! The breakfast was better than some I've had a restaurants! So tasty and so many options, not just oatmeal and stale toast. They offered fluffy eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles batter & waffle maker, cold yogurts, fresh bagels and fresh fruit! WOW! My family and I make the trip to Deland almost every year and hadn't come across this hotel until this year and we will NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!! This place is such a great value & we can't wait to return!! Extra special thanks to the staff that were genuinely pleasant & SO helpful!”

“I recently got a really awful haircut and needed someone to fix it. On a referral, I went into Avery's to see if someone could help me. There I found Gary (the nicest guy) who listened to me ramble about my problem and in about 20 minutes had fixed the problem and given me a great cut. I highly recommend this salon if you're looking for a great cut and very friendly people. Thanks again Gary. See you in Sept.”

“Decisions decisions decisions. So many varieties all looking yummy I personally enjoy the ice coffee. A small variety of ice cream cakes. They do gave a drive through and opened until 9:00 pm. Although I know where it's at, I went at night looking for the sign, yup passed it up. So look good because the sign is smaller than you think.”
