“I had major water damage through 2/3 of my house, and have been battling the insurance company. While I was waiting for the payout I went around getting estimates from all the major players. Needless to say I was horrified. Lowe's wanted $2700.00 to CARPET 2 rooms (lots of add-ons you don't see until you get the quote). Their prices sound great until you realize they pad the price for charging you for any tiny thing they do for you. I then called a variety of other places, and the cost was still outrageous. When I walked into Mr. Carpet I was almost in tears, and let me tell you they handily solved all my problems for an amazing price. A gift from God really! $4700.00 for one bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and vinyl planks in the living room and hallway. Not to mention all the molding the water damaged and had to be removed and replaced. Don and Dennis are wonderful, and truly care about people and the community. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Get the quote from Lowe's and/or Home Depot and THEN go to Mr. Carpet so you can see how badly the big 2 try to screw over the consumer. Only one negative I have to report is this: They did order way too much material, and didn't really let me know I couldn't return it. Almost 4 boxes of vinyl plank is a little much, but if I had to do it all over again I still would. So it cost me an extra $150.00? They saved me thousands. Just know when the material is ordered you're stuck with it. As you can see the bathroom is still in process, but the flooring they put in while I'm waiting on the new vanity is stunning. I will go to them for any floor replacement I ever need in the future and you should too!”

When I got to the shop I found the manager (Ron), easy to talk to and attentive to what I wanted done. I very much liked the time given me, even though I realize time is money, I didn't feel like I was being rushed out the door or that there wasn't time for my questions. As far as the shop bill goes...when I saw how much needed to be done on my bike, and both Ron and Will were patient to explain what was wrong and the process needed to repair it, I was DEFINITELY glad I was steered in the right direction. “It started with Justin coming out and spending the time to get to the heart of the problem. Justin took his time and made sure he was recommending what needed to be done. I had to have two new panel boxes and breakers - Alex was awesome! He Took the extra measures to make sure the job was complete and genuinely cared about his work. He stuck to his word and made sure I was completely happy. Rick made sure I got the necessary permits pulled with the City in an expedited manner and was very helpful. Stephanie was awesome and worked hard to help Alex make sure I had power before the weekend. Jeremy was always pleasant and knowledgeable on the phone. The City just came and inspected and we passed!!! I highly recommend this company. You definitely get what you pay for and they don't take shortcuts. “Earl Brown Park has been remodeled and now has a nice stage along with tennis and basketball courts. We were there for the craft show that had more than 80 fine craft booths for an art show. There's lots of tall trees for shade. And it seems like a group of Muscovy ducks have made this park their home. They are exotic looking and not at all shy. Great park for kids, families, and everyone.”
