(March 24, 2019, 2:53 pm)Beautiful scrub habitat. Encountered Florida Scrub Jays and some of them actually landed on a few people in the group so we got some great views. Trail is sandy, so it is not very accesible for people with disabilities. The indoor environmental center had a couple interactive exhibits and a few live animals. Entry was free.
(March 16, 2019, 12:03 pm)We love visiting Lyonia Preserve and today we saw many Scrub Jay's as well as many other birds including a Swallowtail Kite. This property is so important to the wildlife and a wonderful place to explore!
(February 19, 2019, 7:39 pm)what a wonderful experience! seeing the scrub jay was an experience of a life time. I attended the wildlife festival and the tours were so informative. I have a great time there.
(February 6, 2019, 6:21 pm)We did the longest loop (blue loop). Absolutely beautiful. We were blessed to have 4 friendly scrubjays pose for all the pictures we could take! Worth the trip & I will definitely be visiting again.
(October 8, 2018, 12:41 am)Awesome experience! Great staff and volunteers, will be back. Great place to take kids or visitors. So much information is available here. A great place to make learning fun and interactive. Take a short hike or longer hike through the scrub, a great way to see a different Florida.
