Jimmy Doodles Sunset Grill

Visit with my mom and we were going to donate for hurricane victims. Had an awesome breakfast! The staff was so friendly. And, they filled up a 150 gallon container of water so we could take it for showers for people without water. This place just has good down home vibes and the food to match!

This place has good homestyle cooking, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent burgers. Blue plate specials are reasonably priced. Hand dipped ice cream and desserts too. Thanks for feeding the hungry people in Edgewater and Oak Hill.

Outta towner here. We travel from Pittsburgh, PA to Florida yearly for a quick escape from the colder weather. This was a first time for me at the restaurant.
I was so satisfied with my experience here.
I was in after a long time traveling and it was our first afternoon in Florida.
The food was top notch!
The owner (newly took over!) came over when he saw my partner dissecting his burger. He wanted to make sure everything was good. It was actually delicious! He was just giving me his burger veggies.
But to have the owner take notice and check, that means something to a consumer.
My burger was cooked to perfection. You’d think a diner can’t really mess up a burger - but I’ve had it done. Not here - SO GOOD!
This one was juicy, came out piping hot and the bun was fresh as could be!

Now on to the real gem of the place… Jennifer (Jen!), our server.
She MADE our visit.
She was so personable that we felt like old friends catching up.
Her service was top notch too.
Advised us our food was on & would be out shortly. We didn’t once go without a drink. She conversed but got her stuff done. The hustle was evident and I appreciated watching her work but still able to be chatty with her guests.
I spent 20 years in medical office patient relations. I know about hustle and being personable - you can’t fake it, you know?
We will be back next year & I hope to see her again for a repeat visit at J Doodles, I hope it’s seen how much of an asset she is!
Keep up the great work, I’ve eaten all over and you definitely left a good impression on this wanderlusting hippie momma and her family.

The food and staff are absolutely amazing! There is a variety of delicious foods to choose from at great prices. The garlic parmesan fries are the best I have eaten. They have many unique foods, craft sodas, desserts, and more.

The hotdogs and hamburgers are amazing! Did I mention the loaded fries! You have 12 dogs to choose from... 12 burgers and 9 different loaded fries! We will be back every weekend until we've tried them all! Even the sides are great! (NY Salt Potatoes pictured) Great customer service A+++ Great little diner!
