The best chiropractor in Daytona and Volusia county is hidden right here. Dr. Ashby is a hidden gem in back neck and spine therapy. Once he is visited once, you will continue to visit him for all future spine neck needs.

I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Cecil Ashby and his practice! Not meaning to sound melodramatic, but Dr. Ashby's treatment has changed my life. I've had serious lower back and hip issues (after a bad injury), as well as neck and shoulder problems (pain, stiffness, pinched nerves) for years. After recently moving to the area, I was referred to Dr. Ashby by several new neighbors. And I so glad I was!

Dr. Ashby is extremely professional and knowledgeable. He is probably the gentlest chiropractor I've ever seen. But the results are remarkable. I can walk better, faster, and with less effort that I have in years. I''m now walking 1+ miles (no big deal, I know - but it used to be!) with almost no pain in my hip and lower back. And because my flexibility is so much better, I'm walking faster and with less effort. I can actually exercise again. Before seeing Dr. Ashby I could make it about 100 yards before I had to stop, because I was in intense pain. AMAZING! And my neck and shoulder issues have improved, too.

Now my wife is seeing him (she has also had long-term lower back issues) and is seeing big improvement after just a few visits.

On top of that, Dr. Ashby is very nice man - incredibly kind, friendly, and supportive. His staff (I've met Chris and Deirdra) are just as warm and friendly. And the office and exam rooms are great. Plus, once you're a patient, no appointment necessary. Just walk in.

I cannot recommend Dr. Ashby and his practice highly enough! If you need a chiropractor, you should seriously consider him.

Dr. Cecil is a great Chiropractor and assists me with any issues I may be having. His staff is respectful and helpful with anything I may need. He has a great understanding and communication. He listens to my concerns and helps me in any way that he can.

His massage therapist, Christina is excellent. I prefer a massage from a chiropractic office compared to a typical place. She has great knowledge of the muscles and manipulates them in ways that leave me feeling a ton better than beforehand.

I would like to update my review in saying that, there needs to be a better system for appointments. Having no appointments makes it easier for anybody to come, any day. But the price you pay is waiting for up to an hour. I run a tight ship and prefer appointments rather than gambling if I’ll be able to be seen by Dr. Ashby. I don’t have time to waste.

I can count about 3 times where I’ve had to actually leave the room I was put into because I just HAD to go. I wish I had time all day to wait, but I don’t. I believe there needs to be a better system, specifically in the morning.

I’m left to wake up earlier and get there 30 minutes before they open just to guarantee I get a spot. And then waiting those 30 minutes until I can be seen.

Dr. Ashby is a dedicated, caring doctor! He has helped me tremendously in the 9+ years I have been going to him whenever I have pain or need an adjustment. He listens, advises, and works hard to take care of your issues. Great office staff. Best in Volusia county!

Dr. Ashby has been my chiropractor for 20 years! Love that walk-ins are always welcomed by his friendly and professional staff. I most recently was in physical crises just prior to my vacation and Dr. Ashby made it possible with an aggressive treatment plan that got me up and pain free in just a matter of days! I highly recommend Dr Cecil Ashby! The best of the best!
