  My husband and I have both had our cataract surgery done by Dr. Ge at the Surgery Center of Volusia in Port Orange. My husband’s surgery was done on Jan 7 and mine was done on Jan 14th. We arrived early and the receptionist welcomed us in and immediately set to work getting us registered. We had a bit of a wait and then the nurse brought us in to get prepped for surgery. The attendants were very friendly and explained everything that was happening. Dr. Ge and the Anesthesiologist came to see each of us. We were given intravenous drugs to relax us and drops in our eyes to numb them. The surgery seemed to take a very short time and then we were taken back for "recovery" which was very short. Before we were discharged, we were given complete written directions that we were to follow until we went back to the Doctor's office the next day. The Surgery Center even called us the following day to make sure that we were ok following surgery. All in all, it was a very pleasant procedure. The place was very clean and all the employees were very friendly and competent. Would definitely recommend this surgical center under the guidance of Dr. Ge if you were going to have cataract surgery.

  I had plastic surgery here October 2017! the staff is awesome, the facility is clean, and it was a great experience. Was so nice to have my surgery at a private facility and not have to go to the hospital for an elective surgery!

  Well, if you have to get a colonoscopy, this is the place to do it! Dr. Ricci was great and Dolly and the support team were super nice and professional! The warm blankets were the best!

  Dr Hawthorne did total knee replacement surgery on both of my knees. The right knee on 3/2. And most recently on 6/22. On both of my visits the staff was wonderful. They explained the meds I was being given and kept me well informed. This time several of them remembered me from my surgery in March. I highly recommend Dr Hawthorne and the Surgery Center of Volusia.

  This is a fabulous. The staff are amazing. My hand surgeon, Dr Sarah Henry is a great surgeon, and is a very vary nice. She really cares. And I thank her for putting me back together. I highly recommend her for all you hand surgery needs.
