I have had the chance to meet all three Doctors in the office and by far Dr. Desai was very impatient he spent at lease 1min in my room. I’ve had to take kids in ALOT this year for sick visits and the Doctor and the nurses are willing to listen and goes above and beyond answering questions , even looking at previous records . Dr. Spends time on each visit ,even when they are busy. Also the nurses always call back to answer my questions . I’ve bugged them a lot and the whole office has been nothing but helpful and friendly. So the least I could do is write a good review .”

“By far the best Dr. I have ever had. He did my lung surgery and is an exceptionally skilled and practiced surgeon. He is also one of the only surgeons skilled in Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery, (VATS), which was important to me. He is honest without "Candy Coating" the truth. He is compassionate and caring of his patients and has gone far beyond my expectations in ensuring I have a good comfortable recovery. He is patient, takes his time explaining things to you and has been doing this for the past 26 years. In my book, you could not find a better Cardio/Thoracic Surgeon. As a bonus, he works with Dr. Desi, who is also an excellent surgeon. Many times you get them both operating on you at the same time. This was the case with me. The only thing I would downgrade is his staff. They are part of the Florida Hospital system and they are not good at all. They seem to be more interested in being "gatekeepers" applying their supposed "power" over you by filtering your communications to the Doctors. Their PA is terrible. I won't downgrade Dr. Mangonon or Desi for their bad staff as I know they don't have control over who staff's the office.”

“Glad I came all the way from Ft Myers for this Doctor. First ablation I had didn't last but a month and had really written off the idea. My doctor recommended I give him a shot. Drove up, had my ablation and was able to drive home the next day. I write this 3 years after the ablation because I was going to send a friend to him too and wanted to show some appreciation. The guy is skilled no doubt about it and judging by the others in the waiting room he is at the top of his game. Really glad I went.”
