“Alright people before you are like "horrible school dont bring your kid here it is bad" please actually do research about the school. I used to go to this school and when I was there it was honestly one of the best schools ive been too. Though some of the teachers are strict, I believe that was a good thing. Some of the kids would be rebellious, and you can't avoid that, but most kids are nice. The school is overall amazing. I don't know the current principal, but he/she is probably nice as all the principals have been. Also, no, this school is not white-only.”

“Sunrise is the first of 3 VCS elementaries that helped my daughter with her learning disability. The school is full of fantastic teachers and staff. My children feel safe and loved and learn so much everyday. I also LOVE the Leader In Me program. The program teaches our children life long lessons that not many schools would install in our kid's lives. I love how the school encourages parent and community involvement. They also are quick to nip bullying in the bud to keep the students feeling safe. I love the after school clubs and sports that encourage healthy hobbies and goals while giving our kids mentors to look up to. I couldn't imagine a better school experience!”
