“How can anyone not love this place? Easily takes top spot for best breakfast on the island. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is loaded with a wide variety of antique decor. Really such a cool spot. The creme brulee french toast is out of this world, a must order. Their cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are much to brag about as well. Key lime pie was also amazing and fresh. The tall young man who runs the floor (running food etc) is so friendly, nice and hardworking. I feel bad for forgetting his name but he helps make the place great!”

“My daughter hosted her sisters bridal shower here and it was one of the most delightful experiences ever. We had lovely scones, lemon curd, Clotted cream and sandwiches. Guests were required to wear pearls, gloves and hats. It was an afternoon of gracious southern ladies removed from cell phones and hectic schedules. It was all well plann in advanced and we worked closely with the owner to host the different atmosphere for a bridal shower we were seeking.”

“By far the best hospitality and compassion. What started as an awkward question after ordering. They asked, what are my plans today. I said "being with my dad whose in the hospital" he has leukemia and his blood levels get really low and he has to be hospitalized. So when I got to the window, they gave me my food and coffee and then proceeded to hand me a cake pop for my dad and I. This just showed me that compassion and hospitality still exists in the industry. It's the smallest things that happen in the lowest moments. Truly an amazing staff and thank you! Staff was very friendly, the inside of this store is large with plenty of seating! The only two issues I had were the bathrooms needed to be a little more tidy and the outside seating area needs to be cleaned, bags, cups and other paper wrappers are in the Shrubbery bed outside of the black metal fence!”

“I have been to plenty of Kava shops and this one is definitely ranking in my top five for sure. They had live music and games to play. The kids had fun running around and listening to the music, there was no ending of things for the kids to do really and that's a major selling point for me! The drinks were delicious and good strength, I tried both the kava and kratom and can attest to each being a great choice. I will definitely be back to enjoy another weekend evening or afternoon and I love the spot, the people were great and the prices are competitive in comparison to other companies. I came across Southside coffee and decided to have Coffee Nip and bagel with cream cheese after browsing through the menu. I take my açaí pretty darn seriously, and I don’t give out compliments like that lightly. But this was so FRESH, so bursting with flavor and just perfect. I wish I lived closer so that I could stop by at least several times a week just for the bowls. The grilled cheese was fantastic too- again, just so fresh and real and setting the standard for how a grilled cheese should be.
