I recently visited the Canton Primary Care Office. My old primary care physician retired and I needed a new one. Overall, my experience was positive. I received a physical from Joan Keel (APRN) and she was very friendly and professional. It was clear she was very knowledgeable and she made me feel comfortable that I chose this practice as my new primary.

My first piece of feedback is that that their intake process all digital and might be challenging for someone who is not very savvy with technology. To me it wasn't any more cumbersome than paper documentation (I actually prefer it), but I could easily see it being challenging for someone who is not accustom to completing forms this way. There were a few clunky app navigation hurdles and due to the smaller screen and what seemed to be touch screen sensitivity issues I had to delete and retype fields a couple of times.

My second piece of feedback is that I had to wait quite awhile despite being on time for my appointment. Overall, I was in office for almost an hour and a half and the physical itself only took 30 minutes. The staff did apologize to me for the wait and luckily I didn't have a time limit, so it ended up not being much of an issue, but hopefully this isn't a common recurrence in the future as I often have appointments in between work meetings.

As noted before - overall the visit was positive and I intend to continue to use them in the future. I would feel comfortable recommending them to others at this point.

My journey with this office started last December when my insurance booked me a routine visit. I knew I had high blood pressure which I had let go untreated for over 40 years, and while they prescribed medication for me, they also pushed me to take further action, by referring me to a cardiologist and encouraging me to visit the hospital for further examination. Long story short, I've had heart surgery, and because they connected me with the right people, have received the care of the finest doctors in this part of the country. I am so thankful to these people, and to all who have cared for me these past few months. They've added years to my life.

I receive good care here. Doctors and NPs are very attentive. I usually see Katy Hanford, FNP and she has great bedside manner and very knowledgeable. Always listens. My ONLY complaint ids that they do not have warm water in the sinks. My hands are very sensitive to cold, so the cold water literally hurts. I think for most ppl, that wouldn’t be a problem though.

Very caring and proficient staff! I’ve been going to Dr. Karnstedt for several years and she really listens to your concerns, has great medical insight into your health issues and makes the whole experience pleasant, rather than dreaded. The staff is always very friendly.

I’ve only had two virtual visits and both were very pleasant and my provider was very compassionate, she listened very well, I felt comfortable and forthcoming whilst discussing my concerns and a treatment plan. I never felt rushed, and I was given good detailed instructions and advice. As of now i am giving a 5 star rating and a “would recommend”!
