Senior Master Michael Reid is a gifted martial artist as well as a most talented and insightful instructor. I am proud to count myself among the ranks of students he has produced over his career. His contribution to my martial career and my personal development are beyond measure.
He is highly recommended.
Great work out and amazing people.
As a high school coach I always recommended martial arts training to my athletes. It can be extremely beneficial for flexibility, agility, stamina, mental awareness and health, as well as a long list of other benefits.
I took karate as a kid, and then in college I got interested in self defense. Playing basketball and soccer my whole life, I took to some of the concepts pretty quick and was instantly hooked. I bounced around to a lot of different martial arts schools, Ju jitsu, karate, bushido, you name it…and self defense training classes, but I never really found a style or school that I stuck with. After moving back to Marietta after college I searched around for a martial arts place. I wasn’t really thinking nor did I care much about the style, but more about the instructors. Because after going to so many places that was what seemed most important.
After trying out a lot of schools around the Marietta and Roswell areas, this place is my favorite by far!
More than anything the instructors here are top of the line. Extremely professional, non-judgement, very encouraging, you move at your pace and I always feel welcome.
Being a new dad, I haven’t attended in person classes in a while, but I remained a member because of the access of tons of training videos and information. These videos have been crucial for me keeping the dad bod in check and I am definitely going back to class soon.
When my daughter gets old enough she will absolutely become a member as well.
My son has been attending Premier Martial Arts Marietta for six years now and just earned his black belt in December! The staff and fellow students have become family. Master Reid and Sensei John are awesome and have great energy with the kids. They take the time to teach them about more than karate and that is truly appreciated. I love that they show 'tough love' appropriately when needed and don't just let the kids go through the motions and make them earn their achievements. My son is now in the leadership program and picking up valuable life skills and for that, we are very thankful!!!! You guys rock! Thank you for all you do.
My kids and I are both taking classes. Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated and are great with kids. They seem to truly care that students’ maximize their potential and not just go through the motions. Also, there is a good balance between group dynamics with meeting individual student needs. Positive atmosphere. My kids love it. Very glad we found this center.
