Mc Cleskey Middle School

My kid just graduated out of this school. It was a long three years. On the plus side, it's the smallest middle school in the county, so there's good attention from the faculty and staff. On the down side, they're a small school, so they don't have a lot of resources for kids who are significantly outside the norm. Also, middle school kids are horrible to each other. That's true everywhere, but damn. It just sucks sometimes. The nurse and the counselors were great, especially Dr Nguyen. Some of the faculty serve as a reminder that this is a Georgia school, if you know what I mean. Like a history teacher crossing out "Native Americans" and writing, "They're called Indians."

We did it, though, and it was pretty positive on the whole. The good faculty and staff really outweigh the few bad apples.
