We all know Novocain shots are not fun but today they weren’t bad at all, I hardly felt them. I even told him they were the best shots I’ve ever had and I’ve had quite a few! “My husband and I have been going to Dr. Poindexter for many years and we now bring our young son. Dr. Poindexter's office is the perfect small practice dental office where everyone knows your name. His practice is the opposite of uncaring, rushed corporate dental clinics that pop up everywhere. I cannot say enough kind things about his dental hygienist, Tracy. She is incredibly kind, gentle and caring. She remembers our conversations and asks about family when we see her. I love getting my teeth cleaned and she does an amazing job. “Great service. They kept me appraised of everything every step of the way. I had a tooth break due to a cavity under a filling. They even positioned a mirror so I could see the cavity myself and not just the X-ray of it. I was even informed over the phone when booking they have a plan you can sign up for that gives great discounts on all their services. I pay out of pocket for dentistry so this was a game changer for me! I saved hundreds getting my crown from them. I’ve had bad experiences in the past and have avoided the dentist because of them. This office made me feel comfortable and safe like I haven’t felt in a very long time. They were honest and upfront. Definitely willing to come to them for a cleaning after the permanent crown goes on in 2 weeks! I feel like I can trust them and I’ll start coming to the dentist for regular cleanings now. Even looking to change my daughter to them as well.”

One thing to be aware of is a $10 sterilization fee which you will discover as you are signing papers. I don't know one way or another if this is a normal practice, but it seemed strange to me.”
