Wonderful used bookstore with a great selection! The employees are very helpful and nice too.
The quintessential used bookstore: a building with every dusty nook and cranny filled with tall shelves crammed full of aging books waiting to be added to your collection. It’s a wonderful shop, and all of the shelves were well marked. And I found a couple of books at decent prices to take home with me. Best of all - a bookshop cat!
When you think of a cozy bookstore that you want to get lost in amongst tall shelves overflowing with books, this is what you're thinking of. Staff is always kind, helpful, and personable. A true treasure of Atlanta.

They're really good people. They have a variety of vintage and collectable books. Depending on the book that you're selling to them, I would get a second opinion because they have really good prices on what they sell, but that comes at a cost to somebody. I sold some books there a while back. I went back about a month ago and bought 12 Years a Slave for a really good price. I had them to wrap it for me to protect the book from damage and deterioration. I then put the book in my safe deposit box for future generations or just in case I need to sell it. In also wanted a Protestant Family Bible, but I was dissatisfied with the ones they had so they sent me to the Antique Bible website. I ordered a Bible from the 1870's. I'm also waiting on the lady from Atlanta Vintage Books to call me and give a valuation on another book that I'm interested in.

I went there yesterday to pick-up my book. It was a Book of Common Prayer owned by a Confederate officer. The price was reasonable and they wrapped it for me to protect the book from damage and deterioration. Because of its historical significance and the volumes that it speaks to members of the Christian faith, I placed it in my safe deposit box to preserve for future generations.
A beautiful store with a cat friendly environment. It houses rare and vintage books for sale. With books stacked high and more room on the inside it will take a while to explore. For my first visit I loved it. It was like exploring treasures of the past.
