“For a couple of weeks recently, I had been suffering with a burning, gnawing pain in my stomach. I needed a good doctor fast. Without hesitation, a trusted friend told me to go see Dr. Locarnini. He is a terrific doctor: very bright, very caring. I was able to get at an appointment at his practice that same day and saw him within 20 minutes of arriving. (thanks for that go to his wonderful staff who are kind, efficient and even funny!) Dr. Locarnini spent quite a bit of time with me on that first visit. He poked, prodded and asked a lot of questions and then prescribed a simple course of treatment. He advised me for good measure to have a blood test and an ultrasound. Frankly, since I don’t carry insurance I was concerned about how much it would all cost. Dr. Locarnini was mindful of this and very considerate of my wallet. He ran just a few blood tests, referred me to a respected radiology service which did an ultrasound for a fraction of what I thought it would be, and even printed out a coupon for my prescription. All in all, treatment and testing cost less than half what I was prepared to pay. Dr. Locarnini’s treatment alleviated the pain In short order, and the tests he called me personally to review all turned out favorable. I had such a good experience on each of my two visits with the doctor that I raved about him to my former sister-in-law. Amazingly, Tracey who lives in Woodstock, raved about him as well. Apparently, after her doctor had been unable to resolve a chronic sinus/upper respiratory infection, she went to see Dr. Locarnini. And he handled it. I hope you never urgent medical care. But if you ever do, go to Dunwoody Urgent Care. Dr. Locarnini will take very good care of you.”
