(January 24, 2023, 9:34 am)Best views at sunrise and sunset! Cheap parking with a very reasonable season pass. Beautiful scenery amongst family friendly trails. My children (aged 6 and 2) absolutely love it here. Definitely worth the visit.

(August 9, 2022, 7:02 am)Fairly spacious park right on George H. Sparks Reservoir. Plenty of parking and picnic tables are present by the boat ramp and dock. A nearby bait shop can be consulted for fishing equipment and details. Great spot to relax and enjoy a nice sunset view.

(July 31, 2022, 2:00 pm)Sweetwater is in my book a must see. Whether you live nearby or are traveling past, take some time to stop. It is absolutely breath taking beautiful. You can visit the lake or walk the creek. It is taken care of, kept clean and free of trash. You can follow many trails, walking the lake or the creek.
The bate store in on the lake and the store attendants are super friendly and informative. You can purchase any supplies which you may need, from fishing line, lures, gear, live baits and much more. Maps are supplied if needed. Though the shop is smaller in size you will not be dissatisfied with the selection. You will find just about anything you would need. No matter your style of fishing!
All in all the is 💯 hands down one of my favorite visits in Georgia.
