The sessions not only had us talking about challenges but also set a spiritual foundation for us to fall back on.
Joe officiated our wedding and we wouldn't have it any other way. He kept our guest involved in the ceremony which I loved because marriage is not 9nly the joining of souls but also families and communities. We plan to continue to see Joe and Rhonda for now marital counseling. -

We've learned how our marriage should look like according to the word of God. The workbook was very helpful to us as we were able to write out our thoughts and reflections. We discussed real-life experiences and how those experiences can either help or hurt your relationship. Don't hesitate to contact them if you're looking for the answers to a healthy marriage. They stand on the word of God in walking you and your spouse through the process. We will definitely be coming back for our refresher sessions.

We were looking for a God fearing couple with relatable marital experiences and the ability to be transparent. Joe and Rhonda were just that! They held us accountable and would always share God's promises for our marriage with us even in the most subtle ways. They are not Bible thumpers, but they are definitely true to the word and what God says about marriage. They were always kind in their approach and always allowed both my husband and I to share our hearts openly without judgement. I thank God for them and their ability and willingness to pour into others. I will recommend them to ANYONE seeking to strengthen their marriage. Your marriage doesn't have to be broken for it to be a priority!

If you are looking for a shift in your marriage, to address the cracks that appear in your marriage foundation, to unlearn negative patterns and behaviors and learn new patterns and ways of thinking- Joe and Rhonda are the right fit! God used them to literally shift our marriage from being in ruins to thriving! They are God-led and easy to talk to and trust. They use their personal story and lessons to help us through our challenges and to see where we can change, grow, and adapt. Their approach resonated with my husband and I and really helped us to move our marriage to greatness. They helped us to see God's design for our relationship and their transparency was so refreshing. They run their practice very professionally and always showed up for us! I would strongly advise you to commit your time to working with them, we are so so grateful! Our marriage is amazing now and it started with a phone call to this God-ordained couple!

(December 14, 2021, 11:03 am)I am SO happy that my fiancé and I chose The Color of Marriage for our pre-marital counseling. The approach they use is excellent!!! We came in believing we had a strong relationship and foundation - while there was some truth to this, we were not fully considering what it takes to build a lasting marriage of greatness. Joe and Rhonda helped us discuss some specific issues in our past and provided great guidance on how to build an understanding of God's definition of marriage, followed by tools on how to put it into action. We also appreciated Joe and Rhonda being open and sharing some of their personal trials and how they overcame them. We chose the standard package and will likely have a few additional sessions- I would advise either the premium package or additional sessions, to truly get the time you need. They don't rush discussion and time may be needed. So grateful for what they're doing... Absolutely a 5-star counseling service!!!
