I had 3 kidney stones that suddenly let their existence be known on a holiday weekend Sunday. I spoke with Dr. Shapiro and he got me in the office on Monday morning and Lithrotripsy scheduled on Thursday. Amazingly service, care and empathy. Anyone who has had a kidney stone understands you want help ASAP!

So far, so good. The doctor and his staff are doing just fine so far. It will however be 3 months or so before the work on me is complete. I will be happy to complete the review at that time.

I called to let the office know I would be late---my GPS took me to a vacant lot. The person I spoke with was understanding and helpful getting me to where I needed to be. Dr. Shapiro's staff are all friendly and helpful. The Nurse Practitioner is professional and put me completely at ease. Dr. Shapiro is top notch ---he explained what I needed and why and how we would move forward. I recommend the office and Dr. Shapiro completely.

Dr. Shapiro has been treating me for kidney stones large enough to have their own zip code. The course of treatment required several procedures over the course of a couple years and were increasingly complex. He was persistent, took time to explain, and stuck with it to get a favorable result. I was and remain impressed with his level of professionalism and knowledge. In a world that seems to increasingly require ‘assembly line health care’, Dr. Shapiro is a no nonsense get it done right practitioner that personalizes care and operates at the top of his profession.
