My family recently said goodbye to my grandmother, and she was brought to Seasons to spend her final days. The staff got to know everybody in the family, learned a lot about my grandmother and spent time talking with her about her favorite topics. They allowed us to bring my grandmother's dog to see her, they have a therapy dog that visits weekly, and the best part- they have music therapy! The music therapist happened to be there on my grandmother's 75th birthday, so she spent some time in the room, playing her guitar, singing her Happy Birthday, as well as a few other songs from artists my grandmother was fond of. Let me tell you- not a single dry eye in that room that day. It was an incredibly touching and powerful experience, one that will not leave my memories anytime soon.
