Buttermilk Kitchen

Great breakfast foods! No reservations but a wait/call ahead list. My husband feels it's overpriced. I find that it is just a sign of the times. Regardless, I always enjoy Buttermilk Kitchen. I especially love the dishes that the food is served on and the welcoming atmosphere. Always great customer service!

We originally came to dine on a Saturday mid-morning, but the wait was 2.5 hrs. Yikes!! So, the hostess recommended we join the wait list online. What a great idea! We did and Sunday morning we enjoyed the most scrumptious meal. I enjoyed the zucchini scramble, with a biscuit & blueberry basil jam. My son & husband had the pancake, French toast & potato fritters. The service was excellent by Ms. Erin and the ambiance was delightful.

Of our whole trip, this was by far our favorite food in the area! I got the hash bowl and the potatoes were unreal, so perfectly crispy. I had never had grits before and the pimento cheese grits were incredible. Brandon M was an amazing server, so funny & present - he really just made our experience that much better! 10/10 will be coming back for this place!

Atmosphere and good was good. Biscuits were fluffy and tasty. The special was short rib hash, yum! 😋 The pimento cheese plate appetizer was devine! 🥰
Only complaint, the lox are beautiful, but cut too thick. Anyone who eats lox & bagels KNOWS the detail is in the thin slices, which prevents an 'overwhelming chewy texture." Pleasant, knowledgeable staff😊

This restaurant was great! I found it on Google, looked at the good reviews, and I must say that the previous reviewers were right! The food was hot and tasty. It was different in what I'm used to but I do plan to visit here again. The decor was nice becaue its set up like a home throughout the facility. The workers were very hospitable. We were welcomed and told good bye when leaving. Although there was minor problem with my meal (having the meal deconstructed), they fixed it right away!
