  Basing my training out of Austin. I’ve been traveling and training at gyms around the country the last few months due to family things. I can easily say this has been one of the best experiences I’ve had as a visitor. Greg was a phenomenal instructor and shaped the class around the needs of all that were in attendance. Going into great detail with the technique he had planned to teach and just as detailed with the technique that derived from questions from his students. When the class was over he stayed for an extra 30 minutes to allow the students in the class to work on whatever they wanted to. As a new person to a gym, Greg made me feel like i was at home and I learned so much in so little time.

  I first went to Odyssey BJJ for a free rolling session with the crew to see how it was, after the first 15 minutes there I realized how phenomenal of a Gym it is. There are two black belt coaches and tons of high level BJJ teammates who all focus 100% on trying to maximize how well everyone learns BJJ together. Odyssey BJJ is guaranteed the best BJJ gym in Atlanta! Affordable prices, phenomenal coaches, phenomenal teammates, and great learning environment. I 100% recommend odyssey BJJ to anyone who is considering becoming a very strong in BJJ. And we are always happy to have new teammates in the crew!

  Got the chance to visit Odyssey last night and man, I was blown away. I had originally heard about it here on Reddit and decided to swing by for a no gi class.
  
  The coaches are top notch. One is a Danaher black belt and the other is a black belt under Marcelo. Naturally I picked their brains as much as I could and they were happy to help. Very friendly and technical.
  
  The people there were studs too. When I visited, it was mostly blue belts, but these guys could’ve easily passed for purples and browns at other gyms.
  
  Just like the coaches, the people were very technical and welcoming. During training, there were lots of smiles all around, but everyone was very focused and when it was time to roll or drill they got it done. After class, everyone hung out together for a while, chatting and getting extra training.
  
  If y’all are in Atlanta I definitely recommend giving them a try. If I lived here this would be my home gym.

  Definitely recommend this spot. I dropped in after researching a few different locations and settled on Odyssey’s Mon, no-gi class. The instructor was technical, friendly, and helpful. The students / commission had a really good vibe, and the content was solid. More than anything, I had fun rolling and learning in a welcoming community.
  
  The facility was clean, had weights, plenty of changing rooms (which is unlikely to see typically), and more than enough mat space.
  
  Highly recommend stopping in. Odyssey will for sure be my Atlanta spot for rolls going forward!

  Was in Atlanta for the week and needed a place to train. Odyssey’s owner Greg returned my request for contact promptly and was extremely professional and welcoming. When I arrived the gym was clean, the staff was helpful, hospitable, and just gave an overall welcoming vibe. I not only got some rolls in, but I learned some things, got an amazing work out in and left the gym extremely satisfied. Would recommend this gym to anybody in the area 100%. Great group of people!
