Kids-N-Motion Pediatric Therapy

Kids-N-Motion was such an amazing gift to my family! We sought occupational therapy services because we were at our wits' end trying to help our 6-year-old son to sleep. Dvora and her team helped us understand the reasons it was difficult for him to calm and gave us strategies to help; she also provided him language to label it and gave him ownership of his body and state. Bedtime became easier, and an unexpected benefit of therapy was that he gained coordination, agility, and confidence to excel all day!

My son did OT with Dvora for 2 Years and just “graduated” from OT with her. She is so kind, patient and knowledgeable. She really tuned into what My soon needed to work on but also identified his strengths as well. She did great individualized work with him in session and always gave me great suggestions on what to work on at home. Every week I saw small improvements with his strength, control and memory. After each session she would come out and give me a report on what they worked on, what went well and what they still need to work on. I always felt like we were a team.
She always was so positive and loving toward my son. He loved going to see her and keeps asking when we can go back to see Dvora. I recommend this practice to all my friends and making this investment in child at a young age is priceless.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Kidz N Motion with Dvora as our coach. Hidden under the surface, our son was struggling with confidence, and dealing with big feelings. These emotions manifested in ways that my son did not have the tools to handle. Dvora immediately "saw" my son and understood his challenges. Today my son, and us as parents, have the tools onboard to help when difficulties arrive. We are all happier, less anxious, and appreciative for everything that we learned with Dvora.

Dvora is a miracle worker! She is the sun around which my son's therapy team revolves. My son was diagnosed with Autism at 2.5 years. He was non-verbal, too hyper to focus on much of anything, and had extreme separation anxiety from mom. He now has great eye contact, uses prompted language, and runs into Dvora's arms for hugs and kisses. He loves her! While we know his transformation in thanks to his entire team, Dvora had a big part in it. She's the best (and we've tried many).
