Meraki Mama came highly recommended to me by a client of mine.. I had no idea to what to expect but was 5 months pregnant and wanted to try the prenatal yoga! I came home from my first class and knew I had found a gem for pregnant mamas! As soon as I got home I told my husband I wanted Lauren to be at my birth! She was so calming during class and stayed after and answered all our first time mom questions! You can tell she is truly passionate about her mamas and gives you her all! Her partner doula Chawnie also has amazing and calming energy! Lauren was at my birth and once again brought her calming presence. I felt more prepared for labor from all that I had learned in class, different laboring positions and breathing techniques. The best advice I got while pregnant was go to Meraki Mama! The perinatal yoga teacher training is FANTASTIC. Lauren gave us the tools to safely guide pregnant and postpartum students through yoga specifically created for the perinatal body. This training really opened my eyes to so many (more) of the disparities within the birthing community. This training played a huge part in enrolling in additional birthwork and wanting to do my part in helping bridge the gap between expecting parents and new aged ideologies surrounding birth. I will forever be grateful for my experiences at Meraki 💕

Meraki Mama Collective is the most incredible place to go for Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga and all types of fitness classes!!! The environment is warm, welcoming, and super inviting to all mamas who enter at any fitness level. I am grateful to have found such a safe haven so early into my pregnancy. It is the best feeling to have found an open community where I am supported and guided by those going through the same or who have gone through pregnancy recently. I leave each fitness class with a better feeling towards my developing body and my mental state. It really helps that there’s lots of friendly mamas with so much encouragement and positivity. The owner, Lauren, is truly passionate with a tremendous gift and it truly shines through in every aspect of the studio.
