Training with Myrie Jackson at Urban Body Fitness Gym for the last 8 months has been a life altering experience. I have recently retired from practicing law for thirty years, and did not realize what the introduction of a structured plan for exercising with a trained professional would do to my ability to be productive, motivated, and excited about becoming my best physical self at the age of 70 plus years. As I work consistently with Myrie - my mobility, balance, flexibility, and excitement to return to the gym, has given me the mental and physical attitude I need to begin this new phase of my life. I am grateful to have met Myrie Jackson, and I consider him not only as my trainer, but as my friend.

Myrie gave me the perfect balance of education, motivation and expertise to help me reach my fitness goals. He taught me things I didn't know -- like why it's important to work out my legs if I want to flatten my tummy. He motivated me not just by offering encouraging words but by mixing things up so that I was challenged in a fun way. And his expertise is undeniable. He's forgotten more than most of us will ever know about fitness.

Equally important to me, Myrie is good company. I don't want to spend an hour with someone who isn't personable, pleasant and always professional.

Myrie is more than a trainer, he is a transformational health and fitness coach! I attribute my 190 - 165lb weight loss (8 months or less) to him. He taught me to stop eating salad, pick up some weights, and do it safely while enjoying the process. Myrie not only pays particular attention to your form, he will set your spirit on fire for fat loss/muscle gain! His passion and personality really shine while training with him. You will never be bored, you will ALWAYS be challenged, and he will keep you safe and injury free. That's of course, if you choose to listen to him ;). I highly recommend Myrie, especially if you are serious about your goals.

Great Personal Trainer!! As a 46 year old woman, I really appreciate Myrie's dedication to my health & fitness. He is fantastic at making me to want to Do Better, Be Stronger & Eat Healthier. Sessions are always challenging, but still fun. In the 3 years I've been training with Myrie I've gone from sedentary to running 5k races!
