“Dr. Kyra Harvey is one of the best MD in Atlanta! She is no longer practicing at this location! I called to make an appt for her last year and they told me her schedule was booked out. NOT TRUE! They talked me into scheduling with another doctor. I saw a male doctor, that wasn't good, and the staff isn't nice. They didn't even know my extensive history with Dr. Harvey. I should've known something was wrong. It's not the same in terms of treatment there. I vowed NEVER TO RETURN and I was disappointed to have to find a new PCP. But I found Dr. Harvey and I am so happy I did! If you are looking for a provider that cares and always puts her patients first, look her up! Just google her name! The staff is friendly and professional at Dr. Harvey's new office too! Dr. Harvey is simply the BEST! If you want my recommendation, DO NOT GO TO THE LOCATION ON CASCADE! “We have been bringing two pets to Thrive Midtown for about 6 months and have had generally positive experiences. However, none of them were extraordinary enough to note until our most recent visit. Our senior dog has been struggling with pain for 5+ years, and many vets in the past have minimized it or been unable to explain it. She recently had a rough patch and we decided it was severe enough to try seeing a vet again for treatment. The manager, Abby, was able to squeeze us in same day and gave us frequent updates about when to arrive and pick up. Dr. Carson is a true gem - she explained our dogs condition better than anyone has in the past, and actually offered us some solutions (medications) to help mitigate our dogs pain. She also understood that costs were a factor, and recommended multiple courses of action that would give us the results we need without paying for extraneous testing - basically they didn't try to sell us anything we didn't need. Also, our dog had some blood work done and Dr. Carson followed up as soon as the results came back - 24 hours after our appointment (very fast)! The only negative about this practice is that appointments are hard to come by as they stay booked. If you need urgent care, I highly recommend calling because they do accept walk ins and calling ahead will just give you the best chances of walking in with the least wait. If you need emergency care, Thrive recommends Blue Pearl Midtown, where I have also had good experiences.”
