Porter Academy

We love Porter Academy ~ it feels like home. We have had a great experience with the school, staff and families. They will be greatly missed (my son ages out of the school this year). They have exceeded my expectations. The teachers really care about each and every student, they find ways to help them, the are so encouraging and accepting. The push them when the need a push and they love them.

Our son attended Porter Academy last school session. The school has been of immense help to him. He has achieved greatly while in this school and we hope that he will continue with that when we return for next session. Academically and socially, he is excelling beyond our expectations. All these were made possible by his great teachers Dr Purchase and Mrs Teresa. We couldn't have asked for better teachers. They go above and beyond to work with the kids at their individual levels. We have nothing to say but thanks to both teachers. We recommend both for their abilities and patience.

Our son has spent the last two years at Porter Academy and will be returning next year. We have found this school, the teachers, the administrators and all the support staff to be an extremely dedicated and caring group of people. We feel very fortunate that our son can attend Porter Academy. This past year our son had the privilege to be taught by Dr. Purchase and Miss Teresa. Both of these exceptional women had profound and positive influence on our son. He benefited educationally and socially from the impact of these devoted and enthusiastic teachers. Our son loves his teachers and his school. We highly recommend Porter Academy and encourage everyone to investigate this excellent School.

This is an excellent school. Porter Academy offers a very comprehensive and diverse academic program based on our son's abilities. From there, they cultivate their strengths to help them adapt to the world around them. Not an easy thing to do with autism, attention deficit and a myriad of other developmental challenges. You need to visit this school.

My son has been attending Porter Academy for years and we've always had a wonderful experience there. After not succeeding at other schools, he has made a lot of educational and social progress at Porter Academy. They provide a safe, loving, respectful, nurturing environment for children to learn. Dr. Purchase is an exceptional teacher, and Porter Academy is lucky to have her. Highly recommended!
