My daughter loves going to her ballet classes. The place is always clean and neat. Her teacher and ALL the staff is amazing. I totally recommend it.
My girls have had a fantastic experience at North Georgia School of Ballet! I am impressed with how well run the studio is, and you can see the passion that the students have for dance through their performances. The instructors are wonderful, and the environment makes everyone feel included. It has been such a positive place for our girls to learn dance!
We absolutely adore NGSB. Our daughter has attended since she was 3(now 4) and we’ve seen her grow a great deal since beginning ballet. She enjoys and looks forward to it each week. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and informative. Ms. Bethany is awesome. Our daughter has been in Miss Lily’s class since her start at 3. She does an excellent job with skill teaching and keeping it entertaining for the kiddos during practice. Shout out to Miss Victoria as well, they’ve both been wonderful dance instructors to our girl. Looking forward to what next season will bring! 🙂
North Georgia Ballet is a wonderful place for children to learn and love ballet and all things dance! I am so pleased with the level of personal attention my daughters get, the quality of the teachers, and how well the school is run. They just held a full recital at a full theater—with beautiful costumes and a fun “Little Mermaid” theme,. My 3 and 6 year old girls were so well prepared and excited to be on stage. PrIor to joining NGB, I visited several studios, looking for a place that would focus on classical ballet and dance training and be very intentional about how they teach and inspire the youngest students. I first enrolled my oldest daughter when she was 4 (ballet/tap) after she experienced a fun week of camp—and fell in love with the music and story of Swan Lake. I then enrolled my 19 month old in a Mommy and Me class led by Bethany, the owner/Director, and I was amazed at how much these tiny ballerinas loved the class and what they were capable of learning. Fast forward through a year of Covid (which was handled exceptionally well), and we have been so thankful to be back in in-person class. I have 2 little girls (now 3 and 6), who love dance more than ever and can’t wait to go back.
What a phenomenal and special place! NGSB has been a critical part of our family’s life for three years now. The faculty are both consummate professionals and also so warm, kind, and generous of spirit, prioritizing teaching a true love of dance right alongside technique in a feel-good, empowering, non-competitive environment. Since beginning classes here in both ballet and hip hop, my daughter’s self-confidence has grown leaps and bounds.
So grateful to this special family-like community and all they do for their students — and never more so than this past year since the start of the pandemic. Between offering virtual classes and supplemental digital activities when the shutdown first happened to bringing back in-person dance classes in an incredibly safe, thoughtful, evidence-basses and conscientious manner, North Georgia School of Ballet always goes above and beyond to put their dancers first in all ways, emotionally and physically. Can’t recommend this studio enough!
