So we went looking for a place for her, some place with a strong and open memory care unit and a great environment. Christian City is that, 100%. We were made welcome. They were sensitive to her needs from the beginning. They are kind in coping with the strange thing she does. She actually has gained weight there. I can hardly imagine a facility doing a better job. “Dr. Baumgartner truly embodies what we all want in a Dr. He helped my mom fight her cancer for 2 yrs. Her cancer and complications she faced wasn't in the textbooks, he would weigh all the options and present them to her. He wouldn't candycoat but would present news with a sincerity as you would hope for in a Dr. Which is what she loved about him. They would then make a plan of action.
