I'd like to commend two employees who served my husband with care in recent weeks: Gloria and Claudene. Unfortunately I don't know their last names, but no matter what they were gracious and kind, performing their duty with respect and dignity for my husband. We also felt therapists Kizzy, Ejama, and Jerrold were encouraging, well qualified, and engaging making the tough journey to recovery more pleasant. The five stars is for those individuals and others on staff who treat patients in like manner.
My mother entered this facility on Friday, March 4, 2022. My experience has been nothing short of "Stella and Outstanding." Starting with the Admissions office and enrollment...there were two employees (that unfortunately I cannot remember their names but will described as a petite black female and a white blond haired female). I was treated with empathy, compassion and respect! I was lost in the process and they were careful to guide and lead me so as to ensure this stage of the process was correct. Going above and beyond, they were both warm, engaging and personable as we completed paperwork.
Next I met a CNA named Gloria and nurse named Deirdre. BOTH in interacting with my mother treated her as if she was more than a patient, but instead a family member that they cared about. They were patient, understanding and warmhearted in interacting with my Mom. I was so comforted in observation of this type of care. Gloria had both of us rolling sharing jokes. I have not seen my mother laugh like that in years !!!!
I visit my mother daily. They are personable....as I walk through the hallway to her room from from DAY 2, they speak and know my name. The fact that they remembered me by name translated to me that being personable and caring is important in their responsibilities. The environment is very personable as a nursing "HOME" should be. While it is a professional environment, they employees are doing an EXCELLENT job of creating the "HOME" in the name of the facility to just that. A warm and safe home environment.
My mother looks FANTASIC !!! I am so pleased with her progress. She looks happy and content. The staff stays connected me as necessary. When we interact the interaction is as though we are "family/friends" and not a business nursing "HOME." Natausha Wooten demonstrates clearly that her role is not just a job to her but instead the care and well-being of the patients is her PASSION. They all do !!!!! Hilary, in Admissions, warmth in her leadership shows that it has trickled down to her staff. It starts at the top. I can't remember the physical therapy employees name but they are the same...so cheery and bubbly. It's amazingly consistent throughout the entire facility.
I sleep peacefully at night knowing the best of care is being managed by Life Care Center in Lawrenceville. Thank you all from the most sincerest place of my heart for displaying such superlative, magnificent, splendid and stately care of my Mom !!!
Life Care Center of Lawrenceville is a really nice, friendly environment to work. It's my pleasure to come to work daily and put a smile on our residents faces. I love what I do and providing meaningful activities for our residents is my number one goal... I can't wait to be able to get back to some type of real normalcy. We are going to plan the biggest celebration this side of Lawrenceville!! :)
