“Really nice little park! On the right side by the entrance is the playground and picnic area. A smooth paved path also starts at the top and continues on the backside of the park down towards the mill area. This historic mill from the 1890s is well-preserved and situated in a scenic area by a creek. Information signs are present to provide further details about the property. A nice water fall over the stone wall punctuates the experience. Swimming is prohibited.”

“The paved trail is very short. I went around 3 times, just to feel like I got a good walk. Next time I will park near the entrance and walk in from there. There covered picnic tables throughout, bathrooms and waste cans. Each waste can around the trail has dog poop bags. Dog poo appears to be an issue from what I saw, so try to pick up your pets waste to help out the preserve staff. There is a nice lookout area at the back side of the trail overlooking a creek. The interpretive signage is very simple. The wetlands are very pretty even in January.”

“I go to this had station a lot after dark. It is well lot and feels safe. I am usually alone, so that is important. The guy behind thecounter is friendly. There is usually an older gentleman sweeping, cleaning the pumps or taking out thetrash. He watches, but not in a creepy easy. It feels more secure and helpful. The store is small, but well stocked. Because I work in the area, this has become my preferred gas station. I am not accosted by anyone begging for money or anything like that. It just doesn't happen here and I appreciate it. I do wish they had better lighting at the air pump though.”

“This company is amazing! This past spring, the blade on one of our shears got chipped while removing an arborvitae. So we ordered a replacement blade kit, as well as an additional ratchet shear since we all love these tools. To our surprise, when the order arrived, it had 2 brand new shears! The invoice had a note that they were out of stock of the replacement blades so they sent a new shear instead! That's some amazing customer service!!”
