“What used to be the thriving, vibrant and beautiful Independent Northside Methodist Church pastored by Mark Leuthold is now the theater ministry location of the First Baptist Church of Sandy Springs across the street. The eight lovely stained glass windows, whose acquisition Pastor Leuthold spearheaded, are thankfully still in place. In 1978, my husband Warren, then a graduate student in music who was serving as the church’s worship pastor, brought the Women’s Choir from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina, to sing the dedication concert after the installation of the windows. A very old cemetery on the church property is identified as part of the first Baptist Church of Sandy Springs, so the church must have leased or lent their old sanctuary to the Methodists. A memorial marker for Congressman Larry McDonald, who was associated with Northside Independent Methodist Church, is still in front of the church. He was a passenger on the Korean Airlines flight 007 that was shot down by the Russians in 1983.”

“I work nearby this church and I've been to mass here a few times and you also go to Eucharistic adoration sometimes. It's a nice church and everyone seems nice. However, I really dislike how the tabernacle is off to the side of the altar. They also have Eucharistic adoration every day I believe but I don't think they have guardians assigned. I came in once and there was no one there, so that's kind of disappointing.”

“I’m a loyal member of this church, and I cannot thank the leaders and pastors of this church enough. Pastor Matt Doane who oversee’s the middle-high school and adolescents. Coming this Sunday he will baptizing me and I truly cannot thank him enough for leading me to Christ after all these years. He speaks so powerfully and opens the eyes of the blind. And the leaders beside him only guide those around them to the word of god. Ever since these great people have helped me find Jesus I’ve prospered under Christ. I now wake up around 4:30 to 5 and go to bed around 9. I know pray often and read my Bible, and I frequent to the praise of god. I’m born again, after 15 years.
