This location is a food truck in a parking lot. They offer everything that main store has except they don’t have the macadamia filling.

Fried, fluffy, and sugary treat. Recommend the haupia and dobash flavors here but if you go to the main store, get the macadamia.

Visiting Leonard's Bakery Malasada Truck during my trip to Hawaii, was a highlight of the trip. Eagerly, my family and I planned a stop at this renowned spot to grab some snacks. Upon arrival, it was clear this place is popular; a queue had formed, leading to a 10-minute wait to place our order, followed by another 10 minutes for preparation.

Firstly, the malasadas themselves were a delight. Warm and fresh, they truly hit the spot, embodying the essence of a perfect snack. Their light and airy texture, a key feature, made them immensely enjoyable. Furthermore, these fluffy treats, not excessively sweet, were generously dusted with granulated cane sugar, enhancing their taste without overpowering it.

Additionally, the versions with fillings elevated the experience. They offered a delightful contrast, adding a luscious depth to the already delicious base. This combination of soft dough and rich filling made each bite a memorable experience.

The malasadas are pretty dang good and fresh. There's always a line at the truck it moves pretty quickly. I think the best ones are the cream-filled. Great daytime snack after a hike up cocohead. Parking is pretty available in the lot. There are eight types of malasalas, which seem like donuts to me but people dig the place and it's cool and you should try one if you're in Oahu.

I wanted to check this place off my touristy Oahu list. Fun treat! Waited in line about 8 minutes even though there were only 3 other customers in front of us. This truck is located in a shopping mall area. Did not try any other Malasadas on my trip so I can't compare to any other place.

We opted for the truck instead of the actual storefront, as we've seen the long lines at the bakery. This was only a 3-4 minute wait. We tried the Original, Custard, Dobash, and Haupia. THEY'RE ALL EXCELLENT!! I wish I had 2 stomachs. These fluffy, sweet, delicious little pillows are generously dusted with granulated cane sugar, and the ones with filling are even better. A mandatory stop if you're in the area!
