(June 19, 2021, 12:54 am)My husband and I had the opportunity to stay here for a period of just two nights, we had to find a place relatively quickly, after given notice to have to vacate our apartment for some renovation of the bathroom. And neither human or are cat could be in apartment, while work was in progress. We are locals, and this place was close, affordable, and allowed pets! 🐱 When we arrived on a Monday at check-in. First think that happened, was Nickolaus the Manager went to check on the room, before we went up. He said everything checked out. We got to the room. First thing we found not to work was the mounted wall light next to the bed. I called down to desk, he came right up, brought new lighting 💡fixture- installed it, But still would not WORK! He said there must be something wrong with wires in the wall! Then just said don't use it. The furniture in the room was pretty ruff, scratches, nicks, places that looked as if a person had used a knife and made jabs into the wood itself. One place next to the bed under the lights that did not work, so jagged, there were sharp wood slivers. I covered it with wash cloth, so I would not get slivers into my hand or fingers.👎 The room it self was clean, but felt these matters a bit troublesome. Yes the Manager gave us a BETTER Deal, then quoted over phone. Quoted estimates was $267.00 but we got the room at $245.00, that was for two nights for me, husband and the cat. All the staff was pleasant and friendly. And I was happy there was a place I found on such short notice. I would perhaps stay again, (just hopefully getting a better room). I did of course let front desk know what the problems were in the room when checking out. This Extended Stay Inn is next to I-5. In good location, near a large Mall in Tukwila. And surrounded by trees, so much of the traffic noise is buffered by them.🌲🌳 Yes room a bit ruff and furniture in bad shape, but overall bed 🛌 was comfortable, and staff tried to accommodate you in a professional and friendly manner. 🏫
Edit to first review: written on June 11th 2021. Three days after our stay, the fact that management wrote back about the issues with our room we stayed in, and stating they would get maintenance dept to look into these issues, (would make me willing to try them out again), if in need for a room with kitchen, good location, and the friendly staff. Sincerely Kathy H. local resident in Burien/Tukwila area.😉
