I LOVE this church. If you're looking for a kind, warm, welcoming church family, this is it. The pastor, (Scott Custer) is theologically sound and well-spoken. He is uncompromising to Biblical truths and doesn't bend for broken cultural narratives. The assistant pastor, Dennis, is one of the kindest souls you'll ever meet. I've been to many churches and none have given me the feeling of 'home' like this one.
The church almost always has an adult Sunday school happening at 9:00am before the 10:30am service where you get the opportunity to dive into the Bible together in discussion and fellowship.
During this crazy COVID19 time, the church is meeting in-person (or online if you prefer) but observes social distancing and mask wearing to protect our kupuna and at-risk individuals.
So grateful for International Church of Oahu.
Our last home church before leaving to reside in California. Caters military an local families. Nested in Nuuanu Valley going up the Palin Highway towards Kailua an Kaneohe. Fundamental doctrinally with roots in Conservative Baptist movement.
Music is worship style. The choir is long gone as of 2019.
The Obama (family) feeling in the sweet church is lovely. God's word is taught honestly and fully.
Incredible young pastor! Communicates the Word of God very effectively. The people were gracious and welcoming. This church is going to grow.
