Tony and Steve exceeded expectations on our sunrise whale watching tour. Both are very knowledgeable about the whales and their behaviors which led us to have an epic siting with several breaches and fin slaps. Patience paid off with the whales coming closer before performing for us. It was a truly magical experience. The boat was perfect, beautifully restored and very comfortable. One of the best parts is the maximum of 6 persons and we had only our group of 3, so in essence a private tour!

Don’t go on an overcrowded boat full of people. Make a better choice and choose an intimate experience with the best people.
There’s drinks and snacks on board, Steve will tell you about the humpbacks (and everything else you ask him about)
It’s just a nice and cozy experience to be on this boat with a maximum of 6ppl!

I would recommend everyone to join these guys!

By far the best way to experience the waters of Waikiki. We took the sunset cruise. It was awesome! We hung out on the water well past sunset. Steve and Captain Tony were great. Steve supplied great knowledge of not just Hawaii and may other parts of the world. Ask him about whales if you have time. The boat was more than we could have expected. BOOK IT!!

Just got back from our evening tour. Could not ask for a better host and Captian. The boat is immaculate. The trip was amazing and Steven , from my perspective, has never met a stranger. If I could give more stars I would. Do not hesitate to book one of his tours.

6 of us booked a tour for 3pm. We were expecting a small boat but it was a huge amazing boat and beautiful boat! We were greeted by the hospitable Captain Steven and the owner Steve. They offered snacks as we settled down vegan food, sandwiches and fruits, different kinds of drinks.
We met a shark as we moved away from the pier.
The snorkeling was amazing and the crew took care of us endlessly with refreshments. Our favorite music was playing all the time. Kona Star Cruise is the most inexpensive in Honolulu!
It was the best cruise in my life! So much fun! Such beautiful crew! Thank you very much!
