“What a fantastic experience! I got engaged using Paradise Helicopters Tours and they were so easy to work with. They were discrete and professional. I felt taken care of by flying with them. I will be honest, flying in a helicopter is scarier than I thought, but the pilot remained calm throughout the entire ride and knew exactly when bumps would occur. He made sure to calmly explain everything to us and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Also, it is the helicopter from Magnum PI which was cool. Having no doors added to the excitement and then being able to land in Kualoa Ranch (where they filmed Jurassic Park) just added to the whole thing. Definitely fly with them! Thank you again!”

“We had a great diner, very delicious and very tasty. First we got fried calamari, then the trio meal and local catch. For desert we got a pineapple cake. We had a pineapple martini as a drink and it was strong and also very tasty and sweet. I loved the food and the drink. I am very picky and usually don’t finish the food and leave a lot. Here I ate everything it was that good!!! I have a strong sweet tooth and my favorite was the pineapple cake :)”

“We checked out Kahuku Shrimp Truck based on the recommendations of locals. It didn’t disappoint. Pricing is very reasonable per plate (you’ll spend around $15/person) and the portions are generous. I was impressed with the amount of shrimp they give you. I ordered the garlic shrimp and steak and my wife had the garlic shrimp and hot shrimp. I thought the garlic shrimp was awfully tasty however I wasn’t told the shrimp weren’t shelled so that was a little messy. The steak was okay. There wasn’t much flavor and it was pretty chewy. My wife preferred the hot shrimp to the garlic shrimp. I thought the heat level on the shrimp was medium. The people are friendly and there is ample seating outside (with coverage if it’s raining).”

“The food is very good and so are the waffle churros. The Banana Lumpia is very heavenly and so is the BBQ Pork. Churro waffles are very fluffy but sweet and delicious as well. BBQ Pork is located at the small fruit shack that has Banana Lumpia’s Churro Waffles Is located at the Beach Bus. Must be respectful to those around you if you decide to visit the area though.”

“I would like to say mahalo to Lance, who was always so friendly and thoughtful every time I spoke with her to refill my Mom's prescriptions. She helped me set up reminders so we would not run out , and she always had encouraging words to share. Since I was care giving and working full time.... her suggestions, concern and personality certainly eased some stress in my life. Mom left us in November and it's taking time for healing. I'm glad to say I was finally able to speak to Lance today and share my aloha and mahalo for her compassion. I could feel her hug thru the phone when we spoke of the challenge of losing my Mom. “We ordered 2 mixed plates and split them between 2 adults and 2 kids. We paid about $35. Shrimp & Steak, and Chicken & Pork. Starting with the Shrimp, it was hard to peel, and slightly over done. I will pass on their shrimp next time. The rest of our meal was top 10 of our favorites here on Oahu. The pork was sweet and succulent. The steak had a teriyaki flavor and was absolute perfection. The chicken had a hickory smoked vibe, leaving the whole family wanting more. Macaroni salad, regular salad and rice all standard fare and enjoyable.”
