Hawaii Vision Associates

I was really happy with my recent eye exam - the staff were friendly, the exam was fast and easy, and Dr. Harada Shibayama and her staff explained everything to me each step of the procedure. I hadn't had an eye exam for a while so this really helped lessen any anxiety I was feeling. The cost of the exam was also reasonable which made me choose their clinic over others. Thank you, Dr. Shibayama and staff!

I flew in from the Island of Molokai on Friday Evening and told my Daughter-In-Law about the Vision problems I was having. The next morning she was able to call around and get an Appointment with Hawaii Vision Associates! I was already delighted that anything of that Nature was open on a Saturday (mind you I came from the Island of Molokai), and was really impressed that I was going to see a real Doctor! Everyone was so nice and accommodating and Dr. Imada is not only young and beautiful she's very thorough and efficient! I just wished that there was a set-up like that in Molokai!!! GREAT EXPERIENCE! Not going anywhere else.
My entire family goes to see the doctors at Hawaii Vision Associates. We've been coming here since the office opened in 2012. My siblings and I all wear contacts. Every year..because contact and glasses prescriptions in Hawaii are only valid for a year =(...we come back to update our prescriptions.
I usually HATE contacts because my eyes get dry. But Dr, Imada fixed my dryness!! Now I use contacts much more. My boyfriend likes me in contacts =)

Dr. Imada is very smart and articulate. She uses time judiciously. Her expertise makes you confident and trusting of her diagnosis. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing eye exam.
