We were told that we HAD to try this place, so we did.

First thing to know, there is virtually no parking here. A small lot and overflow lot that service multiple businesses are full at most times of the day. The staff park in a lot over a mile away and walk in.

The food was good. I had the fish and chips, which was a large portion and reasonably priced. My wife had fish tacos, also good, but not great. Service was excellent. She was friendly, helpful and attentive.

In summary, if you're in walking distance and can make a reservation, give it a shot. If not, don't worry about it, you really don't HAVE to go there.

I’ve been visiting Monkeypod Kitchen over ten years. This is a perfect go to place. Last night I had a bowl of chowder and deviled eggs, excellent! Customer service has always been outstanding in every aspect of service from check in to departure. The only challenge is that during peak times parking may require multiple trips around the parking lot. There is a parking lot across the street that seems to have more parking and only a five minute walk. Great way to spend an evening

We love taking out of town guests to Monkeypod. The restaurant has enough menu options to make everyone happy. We recently took my in laws who loved the decor, lush landscaping, and live music. We order the lobster deviled eggs every time we go and the strawberry pie is to die for. Recently we ordered their seafood pasta special and split the entree. We love sharing a few items each time we go so that we can try everything. The staff is always very accommodating when we ask to share, and provide great service overall.

UPDATE: 2 years later, it's still really good!
The ravioli and corn chowder we ordered were so good! But the highlight was the strawberry cream cheese pie we ordered for dessert! (And the chocolate gelato.) And our amazing waiter Nick was just the cherry on top of the hot fudge sundae!

Great food and great atmosphere!! The 25 min wait was worth it. The food is very reasonably priced and everything we tried was very fresh and had great flavor. It truly is a farm to table experience. There was also live music during our meal which made it even more fun. The restaurant was very clean and our waiter was very nice! Definitely worth a visit and a nice change from the food available at the resorts.
