(June 3, 2022, 3:35 pm)First off, Tasia is most pleasant to communicate with via email & once you meet in person you truly feel like you're friends. Her response rate is impeccable as you will find that is not always the case with native islanders & being that I planned my wedding from the main land, this took a massive amount of stress off my shoulders. She checked in on me throughout the entire process & even kept up with my school schedule which I found admirable; she really took the time to get to know me. She runs her business with great detail & organization.
As far as her day of service, we were absolutely pleased. She superseded my expectations; Tasia made "East Coast Productions, The DJ" a full service wedding go-to. Not only did they provide our music but she arrived with a head piece on, found me & introduced herself with a helpful demeaner. She covered some basics with me and let me know she'd be checking in with me throughout the day for anything I needed. She took initiative and moved my cake centerstage for cutting & helped around the venue as she saw fit. Carlos did his thing on the one's & two's and Tasia helped direct my entire event; my guests thought she was the Day-Of Coordinator.
We would definitely seek "East Coast Productions, The DJ" again, should we find ourselves hosting another event at the gathering place, Oahu.
(January 12, 2020, 2:28 pm)East Coast Productions was excellent in all aspects of its service for our NYE wedding. Not only were they accommodating to our time difference/long distance in prepping for the wedding (timely responses to emails), but they went above and beyond on the day of the wedding. Set up was seamless, they provided additional lighting for free, had a mic for our officiant at the ceremony and our guests at the reception, and made sure everything was personalized. Tasia and Carlos were professional, prompt, and adapted to any last minute changes. East Coast Productions is a company we would recommend to all of our friends without hesitation.
(June 6, 2019, 9:53 pm)I had the great fortune to work with Tasia and Carlos for a military ball that I helped plan. We searched across the island for DJs for our event, and we were immediately impressed with East Coast Productions. They were extremely responsive and professional in their interactions with us. Tasia attended some of our planning meetings and venue walk-throughs. This happened weeks before the actual event and was critical to our success. Throughout the planning process, the team at East Coast Productions always helped us feel at ease and provided insights from having worked the venue before, and these insights were instrumental in shaping our event. I highlight all of the help with the planning because the day of execution was so flawless due their efforts. They arrived early and set up in a professional manner. They offered audio support to our rehearsal and never got in the way of the venue set-up. Having them there with us for set-up and rehearsals was essential. Their experience with military events and knowledge and feel for a party made the formal and informal portions of our evening absolutely spectacular. The dance floor was full all night- so much so that we should have requested two dance floors to accommodate all of the guests dancing. I have worked with DJs for personal and private events and can say without a doubt that they are the best. I can only give them 5-stars, but they are worth exponentially more than that. Whatever your needs are for a DJ, I give my highest recommendation to East Coast Productions- you will be in great hands with them!
