“Great easy 20-30 minutes hike! Paved all the way to the top making it easier for all ages. Stunning view up top and if your lucky you’ll see some whales 🐳 passing by. Make sure you use the bathroom before you start your hike cause there’s no bathrooms on the very top and also bring water bottles cause it can get very hot.🥵”

THEY ARE VERY WELCOMING TO YOUR DOG/S. THE ROOMS ARE AMAZING, CLEAN, BUG FREE, WELCOMING, N SUPER COMFORTABLE BEDS. I DONT HAVE ONE BAD THING TO SAY ABOUT THIS HOTEL WHICH IS KINDA RARE ON MY PART. “Great staff. Friendly service. Store carries many commonly needed items when stocked. Weekends can be a challenge due to high usage of cabins, campgrounds. Gas is less expensive than gas stations outside the military area. Laundry mat and Subway add to the convenience, especially if you are camping.”

“We didn't understand about 7-11 in Hawaii. After staying on Waimanalo Beach for 9 days, we understand now :) Just really great food, and the staff is excellent. They are equally friendly to everybody, local or tourist. The cashier was especially awesome. Mahalo for feeding us, especially when everybody else had closed earlier than we thought!”

“I love this beach! There are is an abundance of local homeless people camped out at the entrance of the parking lot but once you look past that its a great place to come and enjoy the water. They have restrooms near and a rinse off shower. The water is a beautiful array of blue tones. The sand is soft.”

The praise and worship is amazing with leaders who truly love the Lord. The young Paster is from the community of Waimanalo. His love for Jesus is evident in his sermons, and the way he conducts the leadership in the church. They really are "The perfect church for those who aren't."”

“The staff are wonderful! With that established, I rated 4 stars because the shower/bath houses really need some TLC with tightening and replacing of old fixtures and figuring out why the drains are not working. The women’s large shower house in particular, floods the entire floor making camping very hard to clean up and stay dry. All that said, the site is amazing and a real gem - I wouldn’t choose to “rough it” (aka camp) any other place on the island.”
