“Absolutely gorgeous hiking and wonderful people caring for the grounds. Highly recommend, good for families. Two miles to view the west side. The four mile hike to the WWII bunkers gets views from diamond head to the west side (we couldn’t go because we had a little one with us).”

“My 10 yr old daughter bought a necklace from a lovely lady when we were in Hawaii and she absolutely adored it. She loved hearing about how her daughter helped her collect the shells in the early morning and how they handcrafted their beautiful jewelry. She wore her necklace everyday and told everyone about it. One morning while helping make breakfast it fell off of her neck and the little bottle full of shells shattered on the floor. She was devastated. Fortunately we were able to pick up the shells and she had kept Beachwalk Gallery’s business card. She reached out and they kindly agreed to fix it for her. It arrived in the mail today and my daughter is thrilled. Thank you so much for the great memory, a beautiful necklace, and for fixing it for her. Great customer service!!!”

“We had a group of three take private lessons today with Zach, and he was a great instructor who was clear in communication, and whose first priority was safety in the water. He took time to make sure we understood what to do in different scenarios before getting in, and we still had plenty of time in the water. He was the one who chose the waves for us to surf to guarantee success in the lesson. All the gear was provided and all we had to do was show up in swimsuits. It was such a workout but we had a blast! Would do it again!”

“Such a wonderful find, only a short stroll from our resort! My sweetheart and I ate here three times and totally enjoyed the friendly service, healthy ingredients, generous portions and delicious food! Make sure to try their shaved ice, hands down the best by far we had on the island, topped with fresh fruit, condensed milk and coconut ice cream!! It was so so yummy and one is big enough for two to share. 🍧💕”

“The Starbucks at the Waianae mall is no longer alone. Welcome to the new addition. It's a drive-thru and a walk-up. I don't think I've ever been to a walk-up only Starbucks before. No inside seating. No bathroom. The outside is nice with some seats. Covered with trestles(I think?). I hope they get some plants on those eventually. Experience? Fantastic. It's Starbucks. I love the coffee. The guy who helped me was super nice and the drink was delicious. And... this Starbucks has gotta have one of the best views of any Starbucks on the planet!”

“Makaha Beach Cabanas was a wonderful place to stay. We really enjoyed the view right out the back door. We arrived at night so we couldn't see what we were in for. It was amazing waking up to the ocean. Best experience of my life. Will definitely be staying there again next time we plan our trip. Although the tides were a little strong for children to be swimming in. It was a great get away for an adult vacation.”

“Slightly off the main road, this historical site is a really interesting detour. There are some sparse informational signs but you can mainly walk around the ruins and catch some great views of the adjacent bay. Limited parking available.”

“Hole in the wall Filipino restaurant in Whitmore Village. Aesthetically it's not the cutest place but that's how you know there's gonna be some good, authentic, homemade food in there. First time here even though I'm a Wahiawa native. They sell ala cart, by the plate, and platters. It looks like lots of people ordered ahead for platters which I will also do myself the next time. I went a couple hours before closing so the food didn't look fresh but we enjoyed it. Salty and savory food that hits the spot and wear something comfy cause it'll definitely be kanaks after.”
