Mind Centered Birth

I knew I wanted a doula for support during my birth, but what we received from Heather was so much more! Heather is extremely knowledgeable and professional, yes, but her ability to calm me down and keep me focused during a very long and difficult labor was the golden ticket. I relied on her so much for comfort and support, and she delivered. My husband and I agreed that we wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. During the worst of it, I did not want to have a single contraction without her by my side. On top of days of prompt communication as I started laboring, she remained with us for well over 24 hours in the hospital.

She is extremely hands on and guided me through multiple positions and assisted my husband in how to help me best. She communicated well with my midwife, who was impressed by how knowledgeable and hands on she was. Her birthing classes are a must for any first time mom, and I recommend her for birth photography as well!

You get much more than what you bargained for when you hire Heather. We will absolutely be using her again!

I truly believe I could not have labored naturally without Heather. She is an incredible woman and doula and I highly recommend inviting her into your pregnancy and birth experience. She was able to guide my husband and provide mental and physical support. I felt safe, comfortable and strong once she arrived to our home while laboring. She also took beautiful photos while our daughter was born that we will love and cherish forever.

Heather is a godsend to her patients in one of the most emotional, and powerful moments of their lives: giving birth.
