(April 9, 2020, 12:05 pm)I'd like to thank the heroes at the Star fire department along with the Star police department and Ada county sheriff department.On the 8th of April twice did a drive by birthday parade for my son Eli's 7th birthday with their lights and sirens blaring. It was so awesome! Thank you for all you do for the community and for making my son's 7th birthday a memorable one. You guys are awesome!!! Also I would like to take a moment to acknowledge one of the members of the fire department Ernie, who a few weeks ago saved the life of a friend and co-worker who suffered a heart attack in the Costco parking lot. Thank you for all you do for the community you guys are truly heroes.
