Twin Springs

The whole place was clean and the cabins were larger then I expected. Comfy beds and a mostly full kitchen. Being right next to the river was amazing and the hot spring tub was relaxing and healing though I do wish they had seats in them. I was refreshed and happy after a single night there. The one downside was the last part of the road it caused some suspension and undercarriage issues but the rest of the road was newly refurbished.

Hubs and I stayed in the Rock House for our 15yr wedding anniversary in mid-April 2023.

If you're looking for luxury then this is absolutely not the place for you.

Want a rustic, be-one-with-nature kind of experience, almost like camping? But where the shelter, the bathroom (with a legit toilet and shower), a bed (there's 2 in the Rock House), very limited indoor electricity (it's literally only for light), and all the natural hot spring water you'd ever need is provided for you? THIS IS YOUR PLACE!!!

Hubs and I have decided we're referring to it as "camping", gotta use your quote-fingers when saying it!

-There's no kitchen or anything to cook on or with. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD, COOKWARE, EATING UTENSILS, CUPS, DRINKS, ETC. Pack this stuff as of you were going camping.

-There is a charcoal grill provided. BRING CHARCOAL.

-There's also a fire pit. BRING FIREWOOD OR GO SEARCHING FOR SOME. There's a lot of good firewood out there, it's just a matter of how far you'll need to go to get it.

-BRING YOUR OWN CHAIRS otherwise you'll have 2 uncomfortable plastic chairs from inside the Rock House.

DID SOMEONE SAY HUGE, PRIVATE HOT TUB!? You can practically go swimming in this thing! It's right outside the house entrance and is filled with natural hot spring water.

There is also a mine entrance next to the hot tube. It goes 20ft or so into the mountain. We stored our drinks there since it stays nice and cool in there!

We will be coming here again. The staff were super friendly and made us feel like family. Absolutely great experience and we are looking forward to our next stay!

Fantastic destination just a short drive from Boise, Idaho and even more fantastic service from check in to check out. The groundskeeper made us feel safe and secure during our 2 night stay and always showed us a willing, happy, helpful attitude regardless of how many odd requests or concerns we had.

My fiancée booked my birthday, and we were lucky to get a spot during hunting season! It was such an awesome time, Leon was such an awesome person to interact with! Super kind, all the staff. Very willing to ask if we needed anything, and make sure we were having a good time! The cabin was lovely, and patio with the hot tub was very lovely. Overall, it was an awesome experience, we look forward to making a tradition ❤️

We stayed at the Gatehouse for the weekend. We got it last minute, they often have at least one cabin open last minute. It was rustic and could use some updates, but it was clean and super comfortable. The bed was way better than expected, the hot tub had clear beautiful water. I had read other reviews about the wasps, and have an allergy to wasps, so we came prepared. But they really were not an issue. They were there, (in the wilderness), but not in abundance, and not inside the cabin or hovering around the pool. The employees were friendly but gave us our privacy. We will be back soon.
