River Canyon Retreat

We attended a large family reunion at River Canyon Retreat, and had a wonderful experience. It was perfect for our group of 70+ people. We were able to gather, eat together, and enjoyed the many activities on site. The kids loved the bounce house, climbing wall and hot tub. We were able to make our own meals in the well stocked kitchen. We also enjoyed local things to do such as river running, hiking, and a Starlight MountainTheater play. It could not have been a better experience. The hosts were amazing!!!!

River Canyon Retreat was amazing! They were so accommodating for our large group. It snowed while we were there and Greg had the sidewalks shoveled before anyone was awake. The facility was perfect with so much to do. The bounce houses, game room, and rock wall were a huge hit. We appreciate Greg and Cheryl for making our experience so great!

A fantastic place for a family reunion or retreat! There's so much to do onsite to help everyone connect and enjoy their time together. The accommodations are very clean and well maintained. The kitchen is large and the dining area has plenty of seating. The gymnasium kept everyone busy and active everyday. We loved working with the property managers who did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend this location!

We had a fun family reunion here. The lodge is great with the large kitchen, dining and living areas. The gym was a huge hit for both the children and adults with tons of activities in it. The two buildings was nice because when you are in the lodge all the noise is in the gym and it is really quiet in the lodge. We liked it enough that we already booked it to come back in two years for our next reunion.

Our family of nearly ninety people enjoyed a fabulous reunion at the River Canyon Retreat. We loved the possibility for private sleeping accommodations, clean bathrooms, immaculate industrial kitchen, spacious dining area, and fabulous activities to entertain everyone from the littlest toddler to the crankiest teenager to the most mature senior . . . all right on site. The scenery is breathtaking; the caretakers are approachable and responsive to arising needs. The piano in the lodge's family room provided sublime bonding for our family as youth gathered round to sing and play. The gym, climbing wall, bouncy house, game room, pool, hot tub, fish pond, and lovely grounds kept youngsters occupied safely, permitting adults opportunity to reconnect. Our only regret is that we don't live a little closer and couldn't stay a little longer!
