“I'd leave a 1 start rating - to try to discourage more people from attending, BUT IT WOULD BE A HUGE LIE! My Family and I loved it!”

“Managers very accommodating and helpful as well as very pleasant. I came up to go Elk Hunting and needed a place to stay for a few nights. The room was perfect….clean and comfortable. It snowed heavily and it was very cold….a warm shower, a warm room and a comfortable bed couldn’t be better. The Idaho City Hotel is a wonderful 100 year old hotel in a community with an amazing history. The managers Tara and Rob provide the perfect atmosphere when visiting this historic community. Check in and stay awhile, you won’t regret it. Tom”

“This cabin is so awesome! We really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely look forward to returning for another visit. The pond is full of fish, but they were too, so our granddaughter learned to cast and caught a little brook trout.”

“We really love this little campground along Hwy 21 above Idaho City. Mores Creek runs alongside the campground and has pools you can sit in to cool down on a hot summer day. Plenty of shade at most sites and brush/trees between sites allows a lot of privacy. Reservations are easy online.”

Hayfork Group Campground

“Just had a family reunion gathering up there today. A nice camp ground, did not see a single mosquito. Some flies, but not bad. There are bathrooms, and technically running water, but you have to pump it, it's actually pretty cool. The water is cold and tastes pretty good. There is a small area that kids can play in the creek, but no serious swimming or fishing, at least not when we were there 4th of July weekend.”
